Code of Conduct
In order to ensure that FCC is a safe and welcoming space for all, all visitors will observe the following code of conduct:
- Be considerate and treat others with kindness, courtesy, and respect.
- Behave in a non-aggressive or non-disruptive manner.
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/caretaker at all times.
- Use courteous language at all times; racial remarks, swearing, malicious gossip, and sexual harassment will not be tolerated.
- Show proper care and respect for FCC and property of others, and always make a reasonable effort to return FCC to the condition in which it was found.
- Be physically and mentally capable of evacuating FCC in an emergency, either by themselves or with the assistance of a companion/aide.
- Engage only in conduct and activities that are consistent with FCC’s Mission and Values and refrain from engaging in conduct, activities, or speech that conflicts with FCC’s Mission or Values or that could reflect negatively on FCC or impact its standing in the community.
- Refrain from engaging in, facilitating, or permitting any criminal activity, committing crimes or misdemeanors, or violating municipal ordinances while on FCC property.
Under the direction of FCC staff, visitors in violations of these policies will be given:
FIRST OFFENSE: Verbal/Written Warning
SECOND OFFENSE: One Week Suspension
THIRD OFFENSE: Revocation of Access to FCC and/or Membership
Visitors in violation of any of the above may be asked to leave at the discretion of FCC Staff without prior warning.
